Brian Plaskon ,
MD, FACS
Dr. Plaskon earned his medical degree from Indiana
University. Surgical training in trauma, transplant, and oncology
was completed in Seattle at Harborview Medical Center, the University
of Washington, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
His General Surgery training was completed at Virginia Mason Medical
Center. His practice includes all aspects of general surgery. Dr.
Plaskon has a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery, surgical
oncology, and nutrition.
Third world medicine and medical ethics
are a passion for Dr. Plaskon. He continues to participate in medical
missions in developing countries and is active in professional
medico-legal and ethic forums. When not caring for patients, Dr.
Plaskon along with his wife Lora, a urologist, and their two children
enjoy the mountain trails and particularly the beaches of the Northwest.
